സൂര്യൻ

بِسْمِ
ബിസ്മി
In (the) name
നാമത്തില്‍
اللَّهِ
ല്ലാഹി
Allah
അല്ലാഹുവിന്‍റെ
ٱلرَّحْمـٰنِ
ര്‍-റഹ്മാനി
the Most Gracious
പരമകാരുണികനും
ٱلرَّحِيمِ
ര്‍-റഹീം
the Most Merciful
കരുണാനിധിയും(ആയ)
ِسْمِ اللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
ബിസ്മില്ലാഹിര്‍-റഹ്മാനിര്‍-റഹീം
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful.
പരമകാരുണികനും ദയാപരനുമായ അല്ലാഹുവിന്‍റെ നാമത്തില്‍.

١
وَٱلشَّمْسِ
വസ്സംസി
And the sun
സൂര്യനെ തന്നെ
وَضُحَاهَا
വദുഹാഹാ
and its brightness
അതിന്‍റെ ശോഭയെ തന്നെ
وَٱلشَّمْسِ وَضُحَىٰهَا
വസ്സംസി വദുഹാഹാ
And by the sun and its brightness;
സൂര്യനും അതിന്‍റെ ശോഭയും സാക്ഷി.

٢
وَٱلْقَمَرِ
വല്‍-ഖമരി
And the moon
ചന്ദ്രനെ തന്നെ
إِذَا
ഇദാ
when
അപ്പോള്‍
تَلاَهَا
തലാഹാ
it follows it
അത് അതിനെ പിന്തുടരുന്നു
وَٱلْقَمَرِ إِذَا تَلَىٰهَا
വല്‍-ഖമരി ഇദാ തലാഹാ
And by the moon as it follows it.
ചന്ദ്രന്‍ സാക്ഷി, അത് സൂര്യനെ പിന്തുടരുമ്പോള്‍

٣
وَٱلنَّهَارِ
വന്‍-നഹാരി
And the day
പകലിനെ തന്നെ
إِذَا
ഇദാ
when
അപ്പോള്‍
جَلاَّهَا
ജല്ലാഹാ
it displays it
അത് അതിനെ തെളിയിച്ചു കാണിക്കുന്നു
وَٱلنَّهَارِ إِذَا جَلَّىٰهَا
വന്‍-നഹാരി ഇദാ ജല്ലാഹാ
And by the day as it shows up.
പകല്‍ സാക്ഷി, അത് തെളിയിച്ചു കാണിക്കുമ്പോള്‍

٤
وَٱللَّيْلِ
വല്‍-ലൈലി
And the night
രാത്രി തന്നെ
إِذَا
ഇദാ
when
അപ്പോള്‍
يَغْشَاهَا
യഘ്ശാഹാ
it covers it
അത് അതിനെ മൂടുന്നു
وَٱلَّيْلِ إِذَا يَغْشَىٰهَا
വല്‍-ലൈലി ഇദാ യഘ്ശാഹാ
And by the night as it conceals it.
രാത്രി തന്നെയാണ്, അത് അതിനെ മൂടുമ്പോള്‍

٥
وَٱلسَّمَآءِ
വസ്സമാഇ
And the sky
ആകാശത്തെ തന്നെ
وَمَا
വമാ
and when
അപ്പോള്‍
بَنَاهَا
ബനാഹാ
Built it
അതിനെ നിര്‍മിച്ചത്
وَٱلسَّمَآءِ وَمَا بَنَىٰهَا
വസ്സമാഇ വമാ ബനാഹാ
And by the heaven and Him Who built it.
ആകാശവും അതിനെ നിര്‍മിച്ചതിനെയും.

٦
وَٱلأَرْضِ
വല്‍-അര്‍ദി
And the earth
ഭൂമിയെ തന്നെ
وَمَا
വമാ
And what
അപ്പോള്‍
طَحَاهَا
തഹാഹാ
spread it
അതിനെ പരത്തി
وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَمَا طَحَىٰهَا
വല്‍-അര്‍ദി വമാ തഹാഹാ
And by the earth and Him Who spread it.
ഭൂമിയും അതിനെ പരത്തിയതും.

٧
وَنَفْسٍ
വനഫ്സിന്‍
And (the) soul
ആത്മാവിനെ തന്നെ
وَمَا
വമാ
And what
അപ്പോള്‍
سَوَّاهَا
സവ്വാഹാ
proportioned it
അതിനെ ക്രമപ്പെടുത്തി
وَنَفْسٍۢ وَمَا سَوَّىٰهَا
വനഫ്സിന്‍ വമാ സവ്വാഹാ
And by soul, and Him Who perfected him in proportion.
ആത്മാവും അതിനെ ക്രമപ്പെടുത്തിയതും.

٨
فَأَلْهَمَهَا
ഫഅല്‍ഹമഹാ
And He inspired it
അവന്‍ അതിന് ബോധനം നല്‍കി
فُجُورَهَا
ഫുജൂരഹാ
Its wickedness
അതിന്‍റെ അധര്‍മ്മത്തെ പറ്റി
وَتَقْوَاهَا
വതഖ്വാഹാ
and its righteousness
അതിന്‍റെ ധര്‍മ്മത്തെ പറ്റി
فَأَلْهَمَهَا فُجُورَهَا وَتَقْوَىٰهَا
ഫഅല്‍ഹമഹാ ഫുജൂരഹാ വതഖ്വാഹാ
Then He showed him what is wrong for him and what is right for him.
എന്നിട്ടവന്‍ അതിന്‍റെ സൂക്ഷ്മതയെയും അധര്‍മത്തെയും സംബന്ധിച്ച അതിന്ന് ബോധനം നല്‍കി.

قَدْ
ഖദ്
Indeed
തീര്‍ച്ചയായും
أَفْلَحَ
അഫ്‌ലഹ
Succeeds
വിജയിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു
مَن
മന്‍
He who
യാതൊരുവന്‍
زَكَّاهَا
സക്കാഹാ
purifies it
അതിനെ പരിശുദ്ധമാക്കി
قَدْ أَفْلَحَ مَن زَكَّىٰهَا
ഖദ് അഫ്‌ലഹ മന്‍ സക്കാഹാ
Indeed he succeeds who purifies his own self.
തീര്‍ച്ചയായും അതിനെ (അത്മാവിനെ) സംസ്കരിച്ചവന്‍പരിശുദ്ധമാക്കിവന്‍ വിജയം വരിച്ചു.
