بِسْمِ
ബിസ്മി
In (the) name
നാമത്തില്‍
اللَّهِ
ല്ലാഹി
Allah
അല്ലാഹുവിന്‍റെ
ٱلرَّحْمـٰنِ
ര്‍-റഹ്മാനി
the Most Gracious
പരമകാരുണികനും
ٱلرَّحِيمِ
ര്‍-റഹീം
the Most Merciful
കരുണാനിധിയും(ആയ)
ِسْمِ اللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
ബിസ്മില്ലാഹിര്‍-റഹ്മാനിര്‍-റഹീം
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful.
പരമകാരുണികനും ദയാപരനുമായ അല്ലാഹുവിന്‍റെ നാമത്തില്‍.

إِذَا
ഇധാ
when
അപ്പോള്‍
ٱلشَّمْسُ
അശ്-ശംസു
the sun
സൂര്യന്‍
كُوِّرَتْ
കുവ്വിറത്
is wrapped up
അത് ചുറ്റിമൂടപ്പെട്ടു
إِذَا ٱلشَّمْسُ كُوِّرَتْ
ഇധാ അശ്-ശംസു കുവ്വിറത്
When the sun is wrapped up
സൂര്യനെ ചുറ്റിപ്പൊതിയുമ്പോള്‍

وَإِذَا
വഇധാ
And when
അപ്പോളും
ٱلنُّجُومُ
അന്-നുജൂമു
the stars
നക്ഷത്രങ്ങള്‍
ٱنكَدَرَتْ
അന്‍കദറത്
Fall
അവ ഉതിര്‍ന്നുവീഴുക
وَإِذَا ٱلنُّجُومُ ٱنكَدَرَتْ
വഇധാ അന്-നുജൂമു അന്‍കദറത്
And when the stars shall fall
നക്ഷത്രങ്ങള്‍ ഉതിര്‍ന്നുവീഴുമ്പോള്‍

٣
وَإِذَا
വഇധാ
And when
അപ്പോളും
ٱلْجِبَالُ
അല്‍-ജിബാലു
the mountains
പര്‍വ്വതങ്ങള്‍
سُيِّرَتْ
സുയ്യിറത്
Are made to move
അവ നടത്തപ്പെടുക
وَإِذَا ٱلْجِبَالُ سُيِّرَتْ
വഇധാ അല്‍-ജിബാലു സുയ്യിറത്
And when the mountains shall made to pass away
പര്‍വതങ്ങള്‍ ചലിച്ചു നീങ്ങുമ്പോള്‍

٤
وَإِذَا
വഇധാ
And when
അപ്പോളും
ٱلْعِشَارُ
അല്‍-ഇശാറു
The pregnant camels
പൂര്‍ണ്ണ ഗര്‍ഭമുള്ള ഒട്ടകങ്ങള്‍
عُطِّلَتْ
ഉട്ടിലത്
Are neglected
അവ വിടപ്പെടുക
وَإِذَا ٱلْعِشَارُ عُطِّلَتْ
വഇധാ അല്‍-ഇശാറു ഉട്ടിലത്
And when the pregnant she-camels shall be neglected
പൂര്‍ണ ഗര്‍ഭിണികളായ ഒട്ടകങ്ങള്‍ പോലും ഉപേക്ഷിക്കപ്പെടുമ്പോള്‍.

وَإِذَا
വഇധാ
And when
അപ്പോളും
ٱلْوُحُوشُ
അല്‍-വുഹൂഷു
the wild beasts
കാട്ടുജന്തുക്കള്‍
حُشِرَتْ
ഹുശിറത്
are gathered
ഒരുമിച്ചു കൂട്ടപ്പെടുക
وَإِذَا ٱلْوُحُوشُ حُشِرَتْ
വഇധാ അല്‍-വുഹൂഷു ഹുശിറത്
And when the wild beasts shall be gathered together.
വന്യമൃഗങ്ങള്‍ ഒരുമിച്ചു കൂടുമ്പോള്‍.

٦
وَإِذَا
വഇധാ
And when
അപ്പോളും
ٱلْبِحَارُ
അല്‍-ബിഹാറു
the seas
സമുദ്രങ്ങള്‍
سُجِّرَتْ
സുജ്ജിറത്
Are set ablaze
കത്തിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞു
وَإِذَا ٱلْبِحَارُ سُجِّرَتْ
വഇധാ അല്‍-ബിഹാറു സുജ്ജിറത്
And when the seas shall become as blazing Fire or shall overflow.
സമുദ്രങ്ങള്‍ അവ തിളച്ചുമറിക്കപ്പെടുമ്പോള്‍.

٧
وَإِذَا
വഇധാ
And when
അപ്പോളും
ٱلنُّفُوسُ
അന്-നുഫൂസു
the souls
ആത്മാക്കള്‍
زُوِّجَتْ
സുവ്വിജത്
are paired
അവ കൂട്ടി ഇണക്കപ്പെടുക
وَإِذَا ٱلنُّفُوسُ زُوِّجَتْ
വഇധാ അന്-നുഫൂസു സുവ്വിജത്
And when the souls shall be joined with their bodies.
ആത്മാക്കള്‍ ഇണങ്ങിച്ചേരുമ്പോള്‍.

٨
وَإِذَا
വഇധാ
And when
അപ്പോളും
ٱلْمَوْءُودَةُ
അല്‍-മവ്ഊദതു
The girl buried
ജീവനോടെ കുഴിച്ചുമൂടപ്പെട്ട പെണ്‍കുട്ടി
سُئِلَتْ
സുഇലത്
is asked
അവള്‍ ചോദിക്കപ്പെടുക
وَإِذَا ٱلْمَوْءُۥدَةُ سُئِلَتْ
വഇധാ അല്‍-മവ്ഊദതു സുഇലത്
And when the female infant buried alive shall be questioned.
കുഴിച്ചു മൂടപ്പെട്ട പെണ്‍കുട്ടിയോട് ചോദിക്കുമ്പോള്‍.

بِأَىِّ
ബിഅയ്യി
For what
ഏത് നിമിത്തം എന്ന്
ذَنبٍ
ധംബിന്‍
sin
പാപം
قُتِلَتْ
ഖുതിലത്
she was killed
അവള്‍ കൊല്ലപ്പെട്ടുത്
بِأَىِّ ذَنۢبٍۢ قُتِلَتْ
ബിഅയ്യി ധംബിന്‍ ഖുതിലത്
For what sin she was killed?
ഏതൊരു പാപത്തിന്‍റെ പേരിലാണ് താന്‍ കൊല്ലപ്പെട്ടതെന്ന്.
