ബിസ്മി
In (the) name
നാമത്തില്‍
اللَّهِ
ല്ലാഹി
Allah
അല്ലാഹുവിന്‍റെ
ٱلرَّحْمـٰنِ
ര്‍-റഹ്മാനി
the Most Gracious,
പരമകാരുണികനും
ٱلرَّحِيمِ
ര്‍-റഹീം
the Most Merciful.
കരുണാനിധിയും(ആയ)
ِسْمِ اللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
ബിസ്മില്ലാഹിര്‍-റഹ്മാനിര്‍-റഹീം
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful.
പരമകാരുണികനും ദയാപരനുമായ അല്ലാഹുവിന്‍റെ നാമത്തില്‍.

Ain-Sin-Qaf.
ഐന്‍- സീന്‍- ഖാഫ്.

٣
كَذٰلِكَ
കധാലിക
Thus
അപ്രകാരം
يُوحِيۤ
യൂഹീ
reveals
ദിവ്യബോധനം നല്‍കുന്നു
إِلَيْكَ
ഇലയ്ക
to you
നിനക്ക്
وَإِلَى
വ-ഇലാ
And towards
അടുത്തേക്ക്
ٱلَّذِينَ
അല്ലധീന
Those who
യാതോരുത്തര്‍
مِن
മിന്‍
From
നിന്ന്
قَبْلِكَ
ഖബ്‌ലിക
before you
നിനക്ക് മുമ്പ്
ٱللَّهُ
അല്ലാഹു
the god
അല്ലാഹു
ٱلْعَزِيزُ
അല്‍-അസീസു
the All-Mighty
പ്രതാപ ശാലി
ٱلْحَكِيمُ
അല്‍-ഹകീം
the All-Wise
അഗാധജ്ഞന്‍
كَذٰلِكَ يُوحِيۤ إِلَيْكَ وَإِلَى ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِكَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلْحَكِيمُ
കധാലിക യൂഹീ ഇലയ്ക വ-ഇലാ അല്ലധീന മിന്‍ ഖബ്‌ലിക അല്ലാഹു അല്‍-അസീസു അല്‍-ഹകീം
Likewise Allah, the All-Mighty, the All-Wise inspires you (O Muhammad) as (He inspired) those before you.
പ്രതാപിയും യുക്തിമാനുമായഅല്ലാഹു നിനക്കും നിനക്കുമുമ്പുള്ളവര്‍ക്കും ഇവ്വിധം ദിവ്യബോധനം നല്‍കുന്നു.

whatever
യാതൊന്ന്
فِى
ഫീ
In
ഇല്‍
ٱلسَّمَاوَاتِ
അസ്-സമാവാതി
the heavens
ആകാശങ്ങള്‍
وَمَا
വ-മാ
and whatever
യാതൊന്നും
فِى
ഫീ
In
ഇല്‍
ٱلأَرْضِ
അല്‍-അര്‍ഡി
the earth
ഭൂമി
وَهُوَ
വ-ഹുവ
when he
അവന്‍
ٱلْعَلِىُّ
അല്‍-അലിയ്യു
(is) the Most High
അത്യുന്നതന്‍
ٱلعَظِيمُ
അല്‍-അഴീം
the Most Great
മഹാനും
لَهُ مَا فِى ٱلسَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِى ٱلأَرْضِ وَهُوَ ٱلْعَلِىُّ ٱلعَظِيمُ
ലഹു മാ ഫീ അസ്-സമാവാതി വ-മാ ഫീ അല്‍-അര്‍ഡി വ-ഹുവ അല്‍-അലിയ്യു അല്‍-അഴീം
To Him belongs all that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth, and He is the Most High, the Most Great.
ആകാശഭൂമികളിലുള്ളതെല്ലാംഅവന്‍റേതാണ്. അവന്‍ അത്യുന്നതനും മഹാനുമാണ്.

٥
تَكَادُ
തകാദു
It almost
അത് ആകാറാകുന്നു
ٱلسَّمَاوَاتُ
അസ്-സമാവാതി
(is like that of) the heavens
ആകാശങ്ങള്‍
يَتَفَطَّرْنَ
യതഫട്ടര്‍ന
break up
പൊട്ടിപ്പിളരുക
مِن
മിന്‍
From
യില്‍നിന്ന്
فَوْقِهِنَّ
ഫൗഖിഹിന്ന
above them
അവിടെ മുകള്‍
وَٱلْمَلاَئِكَةُ
വല്‍-മലാഇകതു
and (so do) the Angels
മലക്കുകളും
يُسَبِّحُونَ
യുസബ്ബിഹൂന
They glorify (Him)
അവര്‍ സ്തുതി കീര്‍ത്തനം നടത്തുന്നു
بِحَمْدِ
ബിഹംദി
with (the) praises
സ്തുതിച്ച് കൊണ്ട്
رَبِّهِمْ
റബ്ബിഹിം
their Lord
അവരുടെ രക്ഷിതാവിനെ
وَيَسْتَغْفِرُونَ
വ-യസ്തഘ്ഫിരൂന
and ask forgiveness
ആര്‍ പാപമോചനം തേടുന്നു
لِمَن
ലിമന്‍
For whoever
ഒരുത്തര്‍ക്ക്
فِى
ഫീ
In
ഇല്‍
ٱلأَرْضِ
അല്‍-അര്‍ഡി
the earth
ഭൂമി
أَلاَ
അലാ
Unquestionably
അറിയുക
إِنَّ
ഇന്ന
Indeed
നിശ്ചയമായും
ٱللَّهَ
അല്ലാഹ
Allah
അല്ലാഹു
هُوَ
ഹുവ
him
അവന്‍
ٱلْغَفُورُ
അല്‍-ഘഫൂറു
(is) the Oft-Forgiving
ഏറെ പൊറുക്കുന്നവന്‍
ٱلرَّحِيمُ
അര്‍-റഹീം
the Most Merciful
കരുണാനിധിയും
تَكَادُ ٱلسَّمَاوَاتُ يَتَفَطَّرْنَ مِن فَوْقِهِنَّ وَٱلْمَلاَئِكَةُ يُسَبِّحُونَ بِحَمْدِ رَبِّهِمْ وَيَسْتَغْفِرُونَ لِمَن فِى ٱلأَرْضِ أَلاَ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ هُوَ ٱلْغَفُورُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ
തകാദു അസ്-സമാവാതി യതഫട്ടര്‍ന മിന്‍ ഫൗഖിഹിന്ന വല്‍-മലാഇകതു യുസബ്ബിഹൂന ബിഹംദി റബ്ബിഹിം വ-യസ്തഘ്ഫിരൂന ലിമന്‍ ഫീ അല്‍-അര്‍ഡി അലാ ഇന്ന അല്ലാഹ ഹുവ അല്‍-ഘഫൂറു അര്‍-റഹീം
Nearly the heavens might rent asunder from above them, and the angels glorify the praises of their Lord, and ask for forgiveness for those on the earth, verily, Allah is the Oft-Forgiving, the Most Merciful.
ആകാശങ്ങള്‍ അവയുടെ മുകള്‍ഭാഗത്തുനിന്ന് പൊട്ടിച്ചിതറാനടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നു. മലക്കുകള്‍ തങ്ങളുടെ നാഥനെ കീര്‍ത്തിക്കുന്നു. വാഴ്ത്തുന്നു. ഭൂമിയിലുള്ളവര്‍ക്കായി അവര്‍ പാപമോചനം തേടുന്നു. അറിയുക. തീര്‍ച്ചയായും അല്ലാഹു ഏറെ പൊറുക്കുന്നവനാണ്. പരമദയാലുവും.

٦
وَٱلَّذِينَ
വല്ലധീന
and those who
യാതോരുവര്‍
ٱتَّخَذُواْ
ഇത്തഖധൂ
take
അവര്‍ സ്വീകരിച്ചു/ഏര്‍പ്പെടുത്തി
مِن
മിന്‍
From
യില്‍നിന്ന്
دُونِهِ
ദൂനിഹി
besides Him
കൂടാതെ
أَوْلِيَآءَ
അവ്‌ലിയാഅ
(as) allies
മിത്രങ്ങള്‍ ആയിട്ട്
ٱللَّهُ
അല്ലാഹു
the god
അല്ലാഹു
حَفِيظٌ
ഹഫീഴുന്‍
a Guardian
കാത്തു സൂക്ഷിക്കുന്നവന്‍
عَلَيْهِمْ
അലയ്‌ഹിം
on them
അവരുടെമേല്‍
وَمَآ
വമാ
But not
അല്ല
أَنتَ
അന്ത
You
നീ തന്നെ
عَلَيْهِم
ഉലയ്‌ഹിം
(will be) upon them
അവരുടെ മേല്‍
بِوَكِيلٍ
ബിവകീല്‍
a manager
ഭരമേല്‍പ്പിക്കപ്പെട്ടവന്‍
وَٱلَّذِينَ ٱتَّخَذُواْ مِن دُونِهِ أَوْلِيَآءَ ٱللَّهُ حَفِيظٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَمَآ أَنتَ عَلَيْهِم بِوَكِيلٍ
വല്ലധീന ഇത്തഖധൂ മിന്‍ ദൂനിഹി അവ്‌ലിയാഅ അല്ലാഹു ഹഫീഴുന്‍ അലയ്‌ഹിം വമാ അന്ത ഉലയ്‌ഹിം ബിവകീല്‍
And as for those who take as Auliya others besides Him Allah is Hafiz (Protector) over them, and you are not a Wakil (guardian or a disposer of their affairs) over them.
അല്ലാഹുവെ ക്കൂടാതെ മറ്റു രക്ഷാധികാരികളെ സ്വീകരിച്ചവരുണ്ടല്ലോ. അല്ലാഹു അവരെ സൂക്ഷ്മമായി നിരീക്ഷിക്കുന്നവനാണ്. നിനക്ക് അവരുടെ മേല്‍നോട്ട ബാധ്യതയില്ല.

٧
وَكَذٰلِكَ
വ-കധാലിക
And thus
അപ്രകാരം
أَوْحَيْنَآ
അവ്ഹയ്നാ
have revealed
നാം ബോധനം നല്‍കിയിരിക്കുന്നു
إِلَيْكَ
ഇലയ്ക
to you
നിനക്ക്
قُرْآناً
ഖുര്‍ആനന്‍
a Quran
ഖുര്‍ആനിനെ
عَرَبِيّاً
അറബിയ്യന്‍
in Arabic
അറബിയിലുള്ള
لِّتُنذِرَ
ലിതുന്‍ധിര
that you may warn
നീ താക്കീത് നല്‍കാനായി
أُمَّ
ഉമ്മ
(the) mother
കേന്ദ്രത്തിന് (മക്ക)
ٱلْقُرَىٰ
അല്‍-ഖുറാ
(of) the cities
നാടുകളുടെ
وَمَنْ
വ-മന്‍
and whoever
ആര്‍
حَوْلَهَا
ഹൗലഹാ
(are) around it
അതിനു ചുറ്റുമുള്ള
وَتُنذِرَ
വ-തുന്‍ധിര
and warn
നീ മുന്നറിയിപ്പ് നല്‍കാനും
يَوْمَ
യൗമ
On the) day
ദിവസത്തെ പറ്റി
ٱلْجَمْعِ
അല്‍-ജമ്ഇ
(of) Assembly
ഒരുമിച്ചുകൂടലിന്‍റെ
لاَ
ലാ
not
ഇല്ല
رَيْبَ
റയ്ബ
doubt
സംശയം
فِيهِ
ഫീഹി
in which
അതില്‍
فَرِيقٌ
ഫറീഖുന്‍
a party
ഒരു വിഭാഗം
فِى
ഫീ
In
ഇല്‍
ٱلْجَنَّةِ
അല്‍-ജന്നതി
(of) the garden
സ്വര്‍ഗത്തില്‍
وَفَرِيقٌ
വ-ഫറീഖുന്‍
and a party
മറ്റൊരു വിഭാഗം
فِى
ഫീ
In
ഇല്‍
ٱلسَّعِيرِ
അസ്-സഅീര്‍
(of) the Blaze
നരകത്തില്‍
وَكَذٰلِكَ أَوْحَيْنَآ إِلَيْكَ قُرْآناً عَرَبِيّاً لِّتُنذِرَ أُمَّ ٱلْقُرَىٰ وَمَنْ حَوْلَهَا وَتُنذِرَ يَوْمَ ٱلْجَمْعِ لاَ رَيْبَ فِيهِ فَرِيقٌ فِى ٱلْجَنَّةِ وَفَرِيقٌ فِى ٱلسَّعِيرِ
വ-കധാലിക അവ്ഹയ്നാ ഇലയ്ക ഖുര്‍ആനന്‍ അറബിയ്യന്‍ ലിതുന്‍ധിര ഉമ്മ അല്‍-ഖുറാ വ-മന്‍ ഹൗലഹാ വ-തുന്‍ധിര യൗമ അല്‍-ജമ്ഇ ലാ റയ്ബ ഫീഹി ഫറീഖുന്‍ ഫീ അല്‍-ജന്നതി വ-ഫറീഖുന്‍ ഫീ അസ്-സഅീര്‍
And thus We have inspired unto you a Qur'an that you may warn the Mother of the Towns (Makkah) and all around it. And warn of the Day of Assembling, of which there is no doubt, when a party will be in Paradise and a party in the blazing Fire (Hell).
ഇവ്വിധം നിനക്കു നാം അറിഭാഷയിലുള്ള ഖുര്‍ആന്‍ ബോധനം നല്‍കിയിരിക്കുന്നു. നീ മാതൃനഗരത്തിലുള്ളവര്‍ക്കും അതിനു ചുറ്റുമുള്ളവര്‍ക്കും മുന്നറിയിപ്പു നല്‍കാനാണിത്. സംഭവിക്കുമെന്ന കാര്യത്തില്‍ സംശയ സാധ്യത പോലുമില്ലാത്ത ആ മഹാസംഗമത്തെ സംബന്ധിച്ച് മുന്നറിയിപ്പു നല്‍കാനും. അന്നൊരു സംഘം സ്വര്‍ഗത്തിലായിരിക്കും. മറ്റൊരു സംഘം കത്തിക്കാളുന്ന നരകത്തീയിലും.

٨
وَلَوْ
വ-ലൗ
And if
എങ്കില്‍
شَآءَ
ശാഅ
wills
ഉദ്ദേശിച്ചിരുന്നു
ٱللَّهُ
അല്ലാഹു
the god
അല്ലാഹു
لَجَعَلَهُمْ
ല-ജഅലഹും
He could have made them
അവരെ ആക്കുമായിരുന്നു
أُمَّةً
ഉമ്മതന്‍
community
സമുദായം
وَاحِدَةً
വാഹിദതന്‍
single.
ഒറ്റ
وَلَـٰكِن
വ-ലാകിന്‍
But
പക്ഷേ
يُدْخِلُ
യുദ്ഖിലു
He admits
അവന്‍ പ്രവേശിപ്പിക്കുന്നു
مَن
മന്‍
(are some) who
ഒരുത്തരെ
يَشَآءُ
യശാഉ
He wills
അവനുദ്ദേശിക്കുന്ന
فِى
ഫീ
In
ഇല്‍
رَحْمَتِهِ
റഹ്മതിഹി
His mercy
തന്‍റെ കാരുണ്യത്തില്‍
وَٱلظَّالِمُونَ
വ-ഴ്ഴാലിമൂന
And the wrongdoers
അക്രമികള്‍
مَا
മാ
not
ഇല്ല
لَهُمْ
ലഹും
for them
അവര്‍ക്ക്
مِّن
മിന്‍
from
ഇല്‍ നിന്ന്
وَلِيٍّ
വലിയ്യിന്‍
protector
ഒരു രക്ഷകന്‍
وَلاَ
വ-ലാ
and not
ഇല്ല
نَصِيرٍ
നസീര്‍
a helper
ഒരു സഹായിയും
وَلَوْ شَآءَ ٱللَّهُ لَجَعَلَهُمْ أُمَّةً وَاحِدَةً وَلَـٰكِن يُدْخِلُ مَن يَشَآءُ فِى رَحْمَتِهِ وَٱلظَّالِمُونَ مَا لَهُمْ مِّن وَلِيٍّ وَلاَ نَصِيرٍ
വ-ലൗ ശാഅ അല്ലാഹു ല-ജഅലഹും ഉമ്മതന്‍ വാഹിദതന്‍ വ-ലാകിന്‍ യുദ്ഖിലു മന്‍ യശാഉ ഫീ റഹ്മതിഹി വ-ഴ്ഴാലിമൂന മാ ലഹും മിന്‍ വലിയ്യിന്‍ വ-ലാ നസീര്‍
And if Allah had willed, He could have made them one nation, but He admits whom He wills to His Mercy. And the Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doers) will have neither a Wali (protector) nor a helper.
അല്ലാഹു ഉദ്ദേശിച്ചിരുന്നെങ്കില്‍ മനുഷ്യരെ മുഴുവന്‍ അവന്‍ ഒരൊറ്റ സമുദായമാക്കുമായിരുന്നു. എന്നാല്‍ അവനിച്ഛിക്കുന്നവരെ അവന്‍ തന്‍റെ അനുഗ്രഹത്തിന് അവകാശിയാക്കുന്നു. അക്രമികള്‍ക്ക് രക്ഷകനോ സഹായിയോ ഇല്ല.

أَمِ
അമി
or
അല്ലെങ്കില്‍
ٱتَّخَذُواْ
ഇത്തഖധൂ
take
അവര്‍ സ്വീകരിച്ചിരിക്കുകയാണോ
مِن
മിന്‍
From
നിന്ന്
دُونِهِ
ദൂനിഹി
besides Him
അവനെ കൂടാതെ
أَوْلِيَآءَ
അവ്‌ലിയാഅ
(as) allies
രക്ഷകന്മാരെ
فَٱللَّهُ
ഫ-അല്ലാഹു
for Allah
എന്നാല്‍ അല്ലാഹു
هُوَ
ഹുവ
him
അവന്‍
ٱلْوَلِىُّ
അല്‍-വലിയ്യു
(is) the Protector
രക്ഷകന്‍
وَهُوَ
വ-ഹുവ
when he
അവന്‍
يُحْيِـى
യുഹ്യീ
gives life
ജീവിപ്പിക്കുന്നു
ٱلْمَوْتَىٰ
അല്‍-മൗതാ
(to) the dead
മരിച്ചവരെ
وَهُوَ
വ-ഹുവ
when he
അവന്‍
عَلَىٰ
അലാ
on
മേല്‍
كُلِّ
കുല്ലി
every
എല്ലാ
شَيْءٍ
ശയ്ഇന്‍
thing
കാര്യത്തിനും
قَدِيرٌ
ഖദീര്‍
All-Powerful
കഴിവുറ്റവനാണ്
أَمِ ٱتَّخَذُواْ مِن دُونِهِ أَوْلِيَآءَ فَٱللَّهُ هُوَ ٱلْوَلِىُّ وَهُوَ يُحْيِـى ٱلْمَوْتَىٰ وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ
അമി ഇത്തഖധൂ മിന്‍ ദൂനിഹി അവ്‌ലിയാഅ ഫ-അല്ലാഹു ഹുവ അല്‍-വലിയ്യു വ-ഹുവ യുഹ്യീ അല്‍-മൗതാ വ-ഹുവ അലാ കുല്ലി ശയ്ഇന്‍ ഖദീര്‍
Or have they taken (for worship) Auliya' besides Him? But Allah, He Alone is the Wali (Protector, etc.). And it is He Who gives life to the dead, and He is Able to do all things.
ഇക്കൂട്ടര്‍ അവനെക്കൂടാതെ മറ്റു രക്ഷകരെ സ്വീകരിച്ചിരിക്കയാണോ? എന്നാല്‍ അറിയുക. യഥാര്‍ഥ രക്ഷകന്‍ അല്ലാഹുവാണ്. അവന്‍ മരിച്ചവരെ ജീവിപ്പിക്കുന്നു. അവന്‍ എല്ലാ കാര്യങ്ങള്‍ക്കും കഴിവുറ്റവനാണ്.
